Frustrated with diets and working out, I decided to try gluten free dieting for the last time (having tried several times, but then having crashed and burned due to a lack of discipline). Recently, on AM Northwest, I saw this story, and because I was feeling sick all the time, I finally got the motivation I needed to pick myself up, dust myself off, and try it again. I ordered the book, and tada, the light went on.
I've been on the plan for a week, now, and already am feeling results as far as feeling better. I also saw the scale budge a little bit this morning!
Here's what I ate yesterday:
Breakfast: egg white, cheese and mushroom omelette with black coffee and 2 corn tortillas
Lunch: celery stalks and peanut butter, 2 tangerines, and a banana
Snack: rice cakes (the asian kind), 2 tangerines, tea, chocolate covered coffee beans
Dinner: gluten free (Rudis) sandwich: ham, mayo, mustard, bread and butter pickles. 3 chocolate and butterscotch oatmeal cookies.
